$425 million expansion of domestic terminal at BWI

Baltimore-Washington International Marshall Airport is working on an update to their domestic terminal and baggage facilities. The update will cost $425 million. According to the Washington Post, this will be the largest investment in the airport’s history. They hope these improvements will better the experience of travelers to and from the area. Maryland Governor Welcomes New Shipping Line Service to Port of Baltimore

In welcome news to shippers of cargo into and out of the Port of Baltimore, Governor Larry Hogan has welcomed a new service from ZIM Shipping Lines into the Port of Baltimore.

The addition of a new line will increase capacity for shipments and greater access to other shipping infrastructure for importers and exporters.

Baltimore serves as the largest e-commerce port in the United States and handles the 11th largest volume of foreign cargo.
